Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Everyday AI Automation LLC, doing business as Preservely ("Preservely," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information across the Preservely website (preservely.ai) and the Preservely mobile app.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide directly

When you join the waitlist, create an account, or contact us, we collect information such as your email address and, once you're admitted to the private beta, account registration details, your financial goals and preferences, and any information you enter during onboarding or in conversation with the Preservely Agent.

Financial account information (via Plaid)

If you connect a bank, brokerage, or other financial account, we use Plaid Inc. to establish that connection. Plaid may collect information about you and your financial accounts as described in Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. With your authorization, we receive account balances and metadata, transaction history (up to 24 months), investment holdings, and liability information (credit cards, loans, mortgages) through Plaid in order to build your financial identity within Preservely — what we call your Financial Brain — and to provide guidance based on it. We do not access or store your bank login credentials — all authentication with your financial institutions is handled directly by Plaid.

Usage and device information

We use Google Analytics on our website to understand traffic and usage patterns (pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, referring site). In the app, we use a third-party error monitoring service for crash and error diagnostics to help us fix bugs and keep the product stable.

AI Agent interactions

The Preservely Agent is built on third-party AI models. When you ask Preservely a question or it generates guidance, your query is sent to that model provider to generate a response; no personally identifiable financial data is sent to AI models. If you use voice features, your voice input may be processed to extract relevant financial information.

2. How we use information

• To operate, maintain, and improve the website and app
• To build and update your Financial Brain and generate guidance, insights, and proactive alerts (for example, flagging unusual charges or drift from your goals)
• To send transactional communications — waitlist confirmations, private beta invitations, account and security notices
• To respond to your questions and support requests
• To analyze and improve site and product usage
• To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• To comply with legal obligations

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with:

• Plaid — to establish and maintain your financial account connections
• AI model providers — to power the Preservely Agent
• Google Analytics — for website usage analysis
• Error monitoring providers — for app crash and error diagnostics
• Market data providers — these receive only the security or market identifiers needed to look up prices and data (for example, a stock ticker), not your personal account information
• Service providers who support hosting, email delivery, and other infrastructure we rely on
• Legal and safety — where required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Preservely, our users, or others

4. Data security

• All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher
• All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256, in our managed cloud infrastructure
• Plaid access tokens are individually encrypted with AES-256, stored server-side only, and never exposed to client applications
• We do not store bank login credentials — Plaid handles all institution authentication
• Access to production systems requires multi-factor authentication

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.

5. Your choices and rights

• You can disconnect any linked financial account at any time within the app
• You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at admin@preservely.ai
• You can opt out of non-essential marketing emails via the unsubscribe link in those emails
• Most browsers let you block or clear analytics cookies through your browser settings

6. Data retention

We retain your financial data for the duration of your active account. Upon account closure or a deletion request, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days, and Plaid access tokens are revoked immediately. Some information may be retained longer where required or permitted by law (for legal, security, or business purposes).

7. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you're a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at admin@preservely.ai.

8. Children's privacy

Preservely is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

9. International users

Preservely is designed for use in the United States, and financial account connectivity through Plaid is currently U.S.-focused. If you access our services from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the U.S.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the revised date at the top of this page, and for material changes we'll provide additional notice where appropriate.
